We were watching a movie the other day, the whole family. The youngest and I were cuddling and I, in my almighty wisdom, pointed the following out to the hubby.

middle: “Why are you all dressed up?”
me(huh?): “What are you talking about?” (I glance down–I’m wearing a pair of jeans [...]
This is the conversation I had the other day while out on my run–phone rings…
me: “Hello?”
middle son: “Mom, where are you?”
me: huff, puff…“Running, you know that.”
middle: “Star Wars isn’t on.”
me(you have got to be kidding me): “Um…huff, puff…okay…?”
middle: “Well, 4 wants to watch it.”
me(really huffing and puffing cause you see, I’m no good at talking [...]
