So…If I’m going to try this, I’m going to go for it and add in a photo or two.

So, here is the current run down. In December of 2009 I received a detailed R for my Presents story that I had done the rewrite for. The editor had some wonderful ideas and keen observations that I will do my best to be aware of in my future stories. They have encouraged me to submit again and I will.

Currently I have taken one and am taking another, writing class. One is on how to be a prolific writer. Which would seem obvious but I thought it might be interesting and it has been. The other is on setting goals and how to achieve them…yep, it seems obvious too but I’m finding it very enlightening. I do believe I’ll be able to share a few tidbits gleaned from both that have helped me.

Also as you may have noticed, I’ve updated the site. I love to do that. Its a creative outlet for me that comes with no outside expectations other than to have fun while creating and learning.  Hopefully you will all enjoy this new look as much as myself. If you come across any links that do not work, please let me know.

I don’t know about you, but I love a blank page. The possibilities are endless! What will fill them? Love and romance? Death and destruction? How about revenge and betrayal? Or perhaps it will be one big adventure full of death defying acts and crafty exploration? Will I fly into outer space to battle strange creatures? Or will I slip into another time dimension! One far into the future with things not even dreamed up yet. But as soon as I think that, images of sword fighting and maids in elegant gowns flash through my mind. I could delve into the past!

Yep, the possibilities are endless. And I love it. I know some writers dread the blank page but I’ve always felt a shiver of pure excitement when presented with that long expanse of white.

There are still a few bugs to be worked out–ie. the right hand column–but for the most part the transition to the new site is all done.  In some ways I like this better…its all run through WordPress. All of it. Newsletters, Forums, Contacting Me…all of it. That is extremely nice. Its streamlined and simple and less fussy. This is a good thing. Ironically though wouldn’t you know it, which I prefer(the fussy/messy/lots going on, to the clean, matching, simple) theme depends wholeheartedly on my mood.  Something which seems to alter day to day.

Hmmm, imagine that. A woman with constantly changing moods.
