It’s about a man who goes to Egypt looking for ark. He tries to find it before the Russians do. I liked it–there was a lot of action. A really good book.
The hero in this story is bent on revenge. This was another story that I read a bit, set the book back down and picked it back up. Seemed too bitter I guess and I wasn’t in the mood to feel that.
This story was different. The gal’s neice and nephew are orphaned and she and the uncle whom she’s had an affair with years ago are the ones to be taking care of them. I actually didn’t read it straight through, but would pick it up and read a bit here and a bit there…all [...]
This is your typical Brian Jacques story–full of songs, food, adventure and great worlds that sound so inviting to be a part of. A little bit slower than the ones I like the most from him. I like a bit more action but it was good.
