The hero in this story is bent on revenge. This was another story that I read a bit, set the book back down and picked it back up. Seemed too bitter I guess and I wasn’t in the mood to feel that.

This is your typical Brian Jacques story–full of songs, food, adventure and great worlds that sound so inviting to be a part of. A little bit slower than the ones I like the most from him. I like a bit more action but it was good.
