Halti
“Oh yeah, mean, vicious, capable of tearing you limb from limb.”
“What? You were talking about me? I thought you were talking about her...”
A while ago…okay, a long while ago, Katherine from over at the Harelquin boards suggested I get a Halti after this post. Three days later I did. This is the best invention! I can’t say enough about how awesome it is. It doesn’t hurt the dog in anyway and even my youngest can now walk her without being pulled over. I’ve tried all the other things out there but hated the fact most incorporate ‘pain’ as a teacher. This teaches in such a simple manner. It’s awesome!
I did/do get a lot of people concerned that my dog is a vicious beast which is entirely too funny. She is such a chicken. She’s even afriad of chickens!!! I can attest to this…we run by some. Oh and ducks, and grass swaying in the wind… Every time I’m dragging her past. :-P For everyone who asks ‘Why is she in a muzzle?‘, I patiently point out that a muzzle would not allow her to open her mouth, she can still bite, or for that matter slip the entire contraption off her head–something else she once did when we had to run by cows. Scary cows. Very scary cows. LOL sidenote: The cows are just as scared of her–they run in the opposite direction too.
