There was water

Lots and lots of water! My character in my current ms loves the water something that really struck home on this mini vacation–I like to be wet for maybe an hour. Then I’d be happy to wait another month before turning into a prune again. My family though are more like my character–days of being a prune are lovely to them.

There was a huge bucket which filled with water constantly and then dumped with a horn warning of the impending onslaught. My two oldest sons would run…yes run to get under it in time.

That is my middle son–10. I should have taken another picture the moment it was over when he trotted over to me blinking water from his eyes with a big silly grin on his face. Silly boy!

They had several tide wave pools and I have to admit the ‘big’ one was fun.

Of course I also enjoyed the tube ride where all it did was go around and around and around in a circle. Relaxing! Well, it would have been if the kids didn’t keep thinking it was supposed to be bumper tubing!

was not easy! Stand still? Why? There are things to be doing! We’re wasting time! Kids.

I’ll share some more tomorrow–well hopefully. We were supposed to have an all day baseball clinic but due to rain it was moved to tomorrow. So we’ll see. Have a great Saturday!
