Several things

Good morning everyone! I had a couple of things I wanted to share today.

***Starting with my lovely quote for the day that I love ~

***This next thing is my oldest from two weekends ago. I’ve meaning to share this little video of him doing the board breaking at his tournament but it takes time getting it set up thus its been pushed off until today when I just decided to ‘catch up’ on things.

It’s not real big because I just used our regular camera. We really need to invest in a video camera but somehow it simply keeps getting pushed down the list of ‘must-haves’. Usually until I do something like this and then find myself wishing I had a regular video camera. He got first on this jump. And in case you can’t tell real well from this video he had his mom’s heart racing and her breath suspended quite literally for he did one of those jumps where he leaps over another kid and breaks the board before touching the ground. He did it perfectly, but talk about giving me a few more gray hairs. He also got third on forms.

He’s the one on the right and that’s his buddy on the left whom he jumped over. Next time he plans on jumping over at least two people. It is impressive to watch. Heart in the throat tense but impressive if all goes well.

***Easter: Obviously everyone was yakking about what they do on the blogs lately and I thought I’d share what we’ve started doing that the kids just love. We set up a scavenger hunt by way of clues. The prize is obviously the easter basket with all the goodies and present but I honestly think we all have just as much fun with the journey to get there. And I say all because its fun creating the clues, placing them and then watching them trying to figure out the hidden meaning behind the one sentence clues. No pictures from this…I should try and remember to get one next year.

***Tomorrow will be a Book Review day. I have several books I will post reviews for. Its time I caught up on that as well.

Okay I’m off to do some more deleting and adding, laundry and bills and pay those nasty taxes today. Yuck! But the writing should be fun at least! Have a great one everyone!
