Don’t let it scare you

I’ve often been accused of being an optimist so this following quote I thought was cool ~~

On the writing front, I actually have almost caught up to where I want to be word count wise…surprise, surprise! So I thought in light of that it would be fun to update my word tracker(note: I’m giving myself credit for the 500 words I have left to add today to make this - I WILL make it one way or another.  )

21,000 / 70,000(needed for Sven count) (30%)

Actual book count ~ 45,000/50,000

I’ve not yet figured out how I’m going to handle that extra count needed to keep participating in Sven. Originally I thought to work on my ST, but the reality is, I am going to finishing editing this ms, write a synopsis, query letter and get it in the mail BEFORE I do that. Soooo well, that kind of puts Sven to rest come that day. At least it wasn’t as soon as I figured.

I have also decided that for my time schedule I’m going to keep a 1000 words a day my goal over all when writing. I will have to set different goals for while I’m editing to keep that moving forward but on the front side of things this number works well for me and how much time I can get to write.

And on yet another subject yet related, while running today I thought of several other things to fix in my ms. Too cool!

Oh and I’m hoping to do another Book Review day here soon. I’ve read several new books but due to needing to meet my writing goals first, haven’t had time to get them posted. I’m hoping this week will prove otherwise. We’ll see.
