I’m an aspiring author who thought she’d grow up to be a (single) career woman doing something in the wilds of places like Alaska. I like the middle of nowhere. Oh and I’d be making oodles of cash of course.

So here I am, all grown up(maybe) , a stay at home mom of three boys with a dog, a husband, neighbors and a mini-van trying to blend a bit of country life with small town city life. It’s camping, gardening, cooking from scratch, fishing, with baseball games, water parks to tv dinners. Add to that a love for running, photos, hunting, knitting, writing and reading–its a hectic life! But one I wouldn’t change for the world.

Well, okay, I wouldn’t mind if the hubby would let me add a chicken or two to the backyard. Oh and don’t forget a couple of sheep–I could spin my own wool then for when I knit! Oh yeah, now that would be cool. What’s that you say? There are ordinance’s against having live stock within city limits? Hmmm, maybe a privacy wall would work…

In the meantime, I am as of yet an unpublished writer who loves to write and will continue to put pen to paper, or as in this case, fingertips to keyboard, even if publication never occurs.

I enjoy reading all kinds of books and pick them depending on my moods. My favorite is probably one which tightly ties in mystery, suspense and romance. Who doesn’t love the danger that lurks around every corner mixed in with a bit of sizzle. It can keep you on your toes flipping pages! Well, maybe more accurately in my case, keep me from doing the necessary tasks of dishes and laundry.

In embarking on this journey to share my stories with everyone, I have discovered what a wonderful gift it is to have my words touch someone; causing them to react with a laugh, a cringe or a moment of sorrow. This magical moment is what motivates me to continue on in my endeavor to capture the imaginations of editors.
